2025 Draft signing and bonus tracker


Below is a list of every player drafted through the first 43 picks (up to the second round) of the 2025 MLB Draft.

Each club has until 5 p.m. ET on Monday, July 28, to come to terms with its Draft selections. If a player has exhausted his collegiate eligibility, he can sign at any time up until one week prior to the next year’s Draft.

5. Cardinals: Liam Doyle, LHP, Tennessee
Pick value: $8,134,800
Signing bonus: $7,250,000
St. Louis signed Doyle, the reigning NCAA D-I strikeout leader, to a below-slot deal. Doyle’s fastball sits at 96 mph and touches 100 mph, and is considered the best heater in the class.

9. Reds: Steele Hall, SS, Hewitt-Trussville HS (AL)
Pick value: $6,513,800
Signing bonus: $5,750,000
The Reds signed the Alabama prep shortstop to a below-slot deal. Hall has at least plus-plus speed and earns top-of-the-scale 80 grades from some evaluators. He’s a lock to stay at shortstop with good actions, range to both sides and the ability to make throws from a variety of angles.

14. Rays: Daniel Pierce, SS, Mill Creek HS (GA)
Pick value: $5,313,100
Signing bonus: $4,313,100
The Rays signed Pierce away from his Georgia commitment with a deal that comes in $1 million shy of slot value. The Georgia high school shortstop has displayed an advanced bat and plus speed. He is a solid defender and has flashed good all-around tools.

17. Cubs: Ethan Conrad, OF, Wake Forest
Pick value: $4,750,800
Signing bonus: $3,563,100
The Cubs signed Conrad, one of the most well-rounded players in the college crop, to a below-slot deal. The Wake Forest product has displayed an advanced approach at the plate and could be close to solid tools across the board.

19. Orioles: Ike Irish, C, Auburn
Pick value: $4,420,900
Signing bonus: $4,418,400
Baltimore signed Irish, one of the best all-around hitters in the college class, to full slot minus a $2,500 contingency bonus. Some teams use the bonus to save money against their signing pools. Irish mashed 13 home runs over 28 SEC games with Auburn and will likely wind up in right field at the next level.

22. Braves: Tate Southisene, SS, Basic HS (NV)
Pick value: $3,983,900
Signing bonus: $2,622,500
Atlanta lured Southisene, its first selection, away from a commitment to Southern Cal with an under-slot deal. The shortstop is the younger brother of Cubs prospect Ty Southisene, whom Chicago signed drafted in the fourth round and signed with an overslot deal last summer.

24. Tigers: Jordan Yost, SS, Sickles HS (FL)
Pick value: $3,726,300
Signing bonus: $3,250,000
The Tigers signed Yost away from his Florida commitment with a deal that comes in just shy of slot value. The Florida high school shortstop has displayed an advanced bat and plus speed. He is a solid defender with the actions and arm to stay at short.

Competitive Balance Round A

38. Mets: Mitch Voit, 2B, Michigan**
Pick value: $2,569,400
Signing bonus: $1,750,000
The Mets signed Voit, their first selection in this Draft, to a below-slot deal. One of the best college hitters in the class, Voit draws comparisons to another former Wolverine, two-time All-Star Jake Cronenworth.

**The Dodgers, Mets and Yankees each received a 10-pick penalty on their first picks for exceeding the second surcharge threshold of the Competitive Balance Tax, meaning their first picks occurred in Competitive Balance Round A.
